The Palms Spa was conceptualised by the husband wife team: Sabita and Neville Umrigar. The former a Ms. India and granddaughter of Raja Dhanrajgir of Hyderabad is a Princess in her own right and Neville having the experience of many businesses both operated internationally and in India have a widespread global exposure to luxury.
Having visited many of the leading Spas around the world, Sabita and Neville Umrigar conceptualized the need for an exclusive gentle technique of high quality massages with the application of pressure in a unique way based on Thai and Balinese influences.
The first Spa was inaugurated in 2011 and opened its doors in the private haven of Mumbai’s heritage building Dhanraj Mahal. A few years later a persistent demand in South Mumbai had The Palms Spa launch at Napean Sea Road. With word of mouth and requests from various parts of the Country, The Palms Spa commenced on its expansion journey with two more standalone Spas in Bangalore, one at the Crowne Plaza in Chennai and one at the Jaipur Marriott within a couple of years.
Though The Palms Spa is excited about opening new Spas and extending its services to various parts of the Country, the brand has been very wary of over expansion as quality control is of paramount importance and unlike many spas has been able to maintain a strict supervision of staff. Having many exclusive members from all over the world, the emphasis on privacy and total de stressing in the quietest way possible has been the signature of The Palms Spa.
